Hi! I'm Trout,
Your Minneapolis Realtor
I love living in Minneapolis, my little big city on the prairie. I’ve lived on other cities but I always come back to this place I call home.
With its sparkling lakes, shady parkways, award-winning restaurants, and deep commitment to the arts, the quality of life here is unbeatable.
Working in real estate allows me to share my love of Minneapolis (and the Twin Cities) with so many people. I’m thrilled to introduce a client to a new neighborhood, an out-of-the-way restaurant, or a hidden gem of a park.
The Twin Cities metro is so diverse, there is always somewhere new to go, someplace new to eat, and someone new to meet.
I’m looking forward to meeting you!

A little Backstory
Things you might not know...
Real estate isn’t my first career. I’ve spent most of my work life as a journalist, writer, book and magazine editor. (I promise not to correct your grammar if you don’t correct my spelling.)
I love research and data analysis, skills that I acquired as a journalist. These skills serve me well in real estate, too, when dissecting market trends or unearthing that unique and overlooked gem of a home.
I’m in danger of becoming a crazy cat lady, but I’ve set a firm limit of three felines at any one time. My furry friends Milo, Birdie, and Chase occasionally make appearances on my Instagram feed.
"Trout is smart, trustworthy, and fun to work with. If I could give Trout 10 stars, I would!"

What to expect when you work with me...
Integrity is at the core of everything I do.
I’m serious about my work, but .I also like to have some fun. Life’s short, let’s laugh a little.
I take to research like a cat with a mouse. My knowledge of the local real estate market sets me apart from other Realtors.
I’m cool as a cucumber under pressure and I think outside the box. Both of these traits make me an excellent negotiator.
I believe that the most successful deal is one where everyone wins.

my Life's
Essentials
The Hood I Call
Home
I’ve lived in the Bryant neighborhood of Minneapolis for 20+ years. I love the central location and the friendly people. .I hope to move to Italy one day.
My Real Estate
Crush
A traditional craftsman home with square open rooms and clean lines. I’m also a fan of Danish modern decor for its simplicity and style.
After Hours
Hangout
When I’m not working you’ll find hanging out with friends in the backyard, listening to live jazz, or walking, biking, or kayaking on one of the city lakes.
My Happy
Place
Every year I look forward to what I call “porch season.” I chose my home because it has three porches. Lounging on a porch with a good book is my idea of heaven.
