The Benefits of New Construction
and the Convenience of City Living

Highland Bridge Homes

With the shortage of existing single-family homes for sale, many buyers are considering purchasing new construction instead.

But much of the new home building in the Twin Cities is taking place in the second- and third-ring suburbs.  If you want to live in Minneapolis or St. Paul, finding a new construction home that meets your needs can be a real challenge.

One of the best options for homebuyers currently is Highland Bridge. This massive new development in St. Paul’s Highland Park neighborhood combines the benefits of new construction with the convenience and walkability of living in the city.

In this video, I walk through the options for homebuyers here at Highland Bridge. Stick around until the end of the video for my insider tip to find out what sets Highland Bridge apart from other new construction developments. Hint, it’s green!

A Small City Within a City

Highland Bridge is a like a small city within the city built on the site of the old Ford Motor Company plant along the Mississippi River. The development includes a variety of housing options including custom-built, single-family homes, condos, multi-level rowhouses, apartments, senior-living, and affordable housing all wrapped around a 55-acre park-like central corridor with walking trails, a water feature, a dog park, and amphitheater.

If you’re looking to design and build your dream home, Highland Bridge has building lots facing the Mississippi River. Lot prices start at $475,000 and go up to $1.15 million for a large, corner lot.

Tri-Level Rowhomes Offer Space and Convenience

Pulte Homes is building rowhouse-style townhomes at Highland Bridge. Pulte offers four base models to choose from. Each tri-level unit has 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and a 2-car garage.

Base price starts at $719,000. Pick your plan and finishes, and then add a bonus room or rooftop terrace.

Pulte has three move-in rowhomes available now and is offering buyers below market interest rates on a 30-year-fixed rate mortgage to lock in their home purchase.

Condos, Apartments, Senior Living, Affordable Housing

In addition to homes for purchase, Highland Bridge includes a variety of rental options. The Collection at Highland Bridge is a luxury apartment complex. Apartment options include studios, one- and two-bedroom apartments.

Last fall, Lunds & Byerlys opened a expansive new store within the Highland Bridge neighborhood, which also includes additional retail space and a medical office building. And, of course, Highland Bridge just a few blocks from all the great shops and restaurants in Highland Park. The location also offers convenient access to both downtowns and Twin Cities International Airport.

LEED Certified and Renewable Energy

Now for my insider tip. Here is the thing that sets Highland Bridge apart from most other housing developments. All of the buildings in Highland Bridge, both commercial and residential, are constructed to meet LEED green building standards. Electricity for Highland Bridge comes from 100 percent carbon-free renewable sources, including what will be the Twin Cities largest urban solar array.
